According to reports, the Hammers are pessimistic about signing a long-term deal for Jesse Lingard.

During the six-month loan period last season, Lingard revived his career under David Moyes. He scored nine goals and provided five assists in 16 Premier League outings.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reaffirmed that Lingard is in his plans for the new campaign.

It’s also reported that West Ham now believe that they have a “10% chance” of re-signing Lingard from Manchester United this summer.

It was revealed that Manchester United has placed a £30 million price tag on the attacker, even though his contract expires in the summer of 2022.

In 210 appearances for Manchester United since graduating from the club’s academy, Lingard has found the back of the net 33 times and contributed 20 assists.
