Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou held a press conference ahead of the League Cup Final, and one of the topics discussed was the availability of Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull.
Both players missed the recent win over Aberdeen, but the good news is that they should be able to feature in the game at Hampden Park.
Of the two players, Mooy is likely to start the game, as he has been in excellent form for the Hoops recently.
He has been keeping Matt O’Riley out of the team and has deserved his run of games in the side.
Postecoglou may also make use of Turnbull, who has played better for the Hoops off the bench than he has from the start of games.
Postecoglou made the mistake of not starting Mooy in the previous game between the Hoops and Rangers at Ibrox last month.
However, Mooy played a big part in Kyogo’s vital equalizer for the Bhoys in the game, and the Celtic boss may have learned his lesson.
The Celtic team for the cup final will be announced on Sunday afternoon, and if Mooy is back in the starting line-up, most Celtic fans will agree that it is the right thing to do, as he has more than earned it after his recent performances for the Bhoys.
