Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is adamant that midfielder Ryan Jack will be fit enough for the beckoning UEFA Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt on May 18 in Seville.

The gaffer has, however, revealed that Kemar Roofe is being closely monitored ahead of the particular fixture that is under a week away.

The reliable duo were unused as Rangers ran riot with a convincing 4-1 victory over Ross County on Wednesday.

Rangers’ official media partner, Heart and Hand podcast, shared the development on Twitter: “Manager says Ryan Jack should be ready for Seville but it will be a ‘close call’ for Kemar Roofe.”

Looking at the key roles played by the two important players at Rangers, their availability on Europa League final day will be a major boost for the Scottish giants in their European campaign.

Roofe is a vital asset for Rangers in the attack when in good shape. It will take van Bronckhorst courage to also use the dependable forward in the particular duel.

On the other hand, Jack has missed two games for Rangers since sustaining an injury in the Europa League second-leg tie against RB Leipzig of Germany.

Rangers will be looking for ways of compensation in European football  after losing the league title to local nemesis Celtic.

They will also be in another best position to lift a local trophy when they face Hearts in the Scottish Cup final three days after the Europa League final.
