According to Record, West Ham United, under David Moyes, have launched a summer transfer bid for Matheus Nunes from Sporting Lisbon, an attacking midfielder who is a target for Leeds United.
According to the Record, Sporting is seeking €50 million (£42.27 million) while West Ham have given them €30 million (£25.36 million) upfront and €5 million (£4.23 million) in add-ons for Nunes.
According to The Daily Mail, Wolves are still keen to sign the 23-year-old Portugal international despite Liverpool pulling out of the battle to get him.
The Hammers will only need to pay Sporting Lisbon €50 million (£42.27 million) in transfer fees if they want to acquire Matheus Nunes during the summer transfer window.
Sporting will want to take advantage of the opportunity because they are aware of how in-demand Nunes is.
In one league appearance for Portugal so far this year, Nunes has contributed one assist.
In 31 league starts last season, the 23-year-old scored three goals and provided two assists.
