According to Le10 Sport, reported West Ham United transfer target Keylor Navas has chosen to join Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.

The French publication claims that Navas made the decision to join Nottingham Forest after holding several discussions with the East Midlands club.

The report suggests that the West Ham United could potentially bring in Navas as Alphonse Areola is open to leaving the club to join Lorient on loan.

Le10 Sport claims that the 36-year-old goalkeeper could join Nottingham Forest, and would be a valuable addition to the team.

Navas has an impressive record, with seven league titles and three Champions League winner’s medals, as well as having conceded 435 goals in 452 games and keeping 165 clean sheets.

However, West Ham United manager David Moyes has more pressing priorities than signing a goalkeeper and losing out on Navas to Nottingham Forest is not a significant loss.
