According to The Scottish Daily Express, Rangers, and by extension, their sporting director, Ross Wilson, are planning a six-figure bid for Aberdeen starlet Lancelot Pollard.
Pollard, a 15-year-old forward, has progressed through the Dons’ youth systems and has even played for their under-18 side.
He’s one of the club’s top young stars, having won the club’s Young Talent of the Month award in October.
After taking over from Steven Gerrard in the autumn, Rangers are preparing for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first summer transfer window as manager.
Rangers are prepared to make a six-figure offer to Pollard to win the race for his signing, according to dependable reporter Scott Burns, a long-serving writer for The Scottish Express.
They are under pressure to complete the deal since they are aware that there is “significant interest” in the player.
Pollard is being pursued by Liverpool, and Manchester United have been keeping an eye on him as well.
